Currently need to research the playables’ playstyles on their universal advantages (yes) & disadvantages (no), such as:
- Door Break
- Door Hack
- Long-Range Attacks/Projectile (if either Wolverine (Xbox & PC only, unless exclusivities times up alongside Spidey), or one of them is close-ranged fighter being surprisingly announced)
- Wall Run
- Air Actions (Flight, Double Jump, Teleport, Grapple)
The PlayStation 4 beta was very enjoyable, and a bit surprising (in a good way). After unlocking the War Table, things really opened up, even with the minimal selection of Missions available at this time.
My favorite part of the game so far is how different each of the Avengers controls. In games like Destiny, you are ultimately limited to one mechanic: shooting guns. Though I will say that game did a lot of innovative things, and not just in one genre. Continuing inevitable comparisons, Anthem was probably too much like Destiny and in some of those similarities fell flat. Though the storytelling was great, there just wasn't enough content or a real end-game. It's hard to tell what post-launch content is planned, but it feels more like Morta…
