Jane Foster is the Mighty Thor: wielder of the legendary Mjolnir, guided by her strong conscience and determination to use her power for good. In her world, Asgard has fallen, and she had to turn to an untrustworthy ally to save what remained. Though used to clashing with gods, she fights a much tougher battle against her deteriorating health.

Dr. Jane became the Goddess of Thunder when she took up the mantle from Thor, who in his grief gave up Mjolnir after the A-Day tragedy and Jane's cancer diagnosis.

Jane served as a member of the Avengers in her timeline, fighting along side them and their crusade against A.I.M. and Monica Rappaccini. However, things in her universe would reach a screeching halt once Odin, the All-Father and King of Asgard, went mad due to outside forces beyond anyone's control. Throwing the Ten Realms into madness, Thor stood tall against the all father, but he proved to be too powerful to fight alone.

Seeing no other option, Thor enlisted the help of the god of mischief Loki for aid against Odin. Once their deal was made, Thor had her finale confrontation with Odin, with Loki stabbing the All Father in his back, killing him. With the Ten Realms freed from Odin's wrath, Loki sought Thor to up held her end of the deal.

Before Mighty Thor could however, she is thrown through time and space into a different universe via tachyon anomalies, meeting a similar group of Avengers, where Odinson of that world remains a Thor, including her counterpart, who remains healthy because she was not present in her world's A-Day.

Mighty Thor is an echo playable of Thor Odinson. The only differences are her normal weapon string combos are mid-ranged for being throw-based only, her projectile throw properties is much farther and can bounce back to her on hit and can target enemies when fully charged and release, and different Ultimate Heroic.
