Biography
Early Life
The son of King T'Chaka, T'Challa was groomed to become the next ruler and protector of his nation as it's Black Panther. During his childhood, he witnessed his father rehearsing a speech he was to give to the Jabari Tribe. While the speech was private, T’Challa asked to accompany his father, wanting to learn how to be a great king. Accompanied by six Hatut Zerase, T’Challa and T’Chaka went to a mute zone village where he was to give the speech, but before it could be given, the ambassador of the Jabari Tribe signalled for the six Hatut Zerase, who were in reality secret assassins for the Jabari Tribe itself, to kill everyone in the village. In the midst of the carnage, T’Challa survived the assassination, but only due to the Hatut Zerase guards mistakenly believing him to be dead. With his uncle S'Yan assuming the role, T'Challa was trained in the various skills of the Black Panther. He also went to school abroad, where he had assumed the identity of “Luke Charles”, to learn of the world outside Wakanda.
Work with the Avengers
At some point in the Avengers' operations, T'Challa succeeded his uncle as the next Black Panther. When they first met, he acted as if he had not heard of them as an intimidation tactic, but ultimately warmed up to them. He often worked with the team to join forces against threats to Wakanda, during which he reestablished contact with long-time ally Captain America. When A-Day was announced, T'Challa and Wakanda were planning to come out in public as an allied nation to the Avengers at Rogers' behest. However, his apparent death during the tragic event caused them to lose contact and isolate itself from the world once more.
After the A-Day
Because of a guilt-ridden Bruce Banner felt admitting the Avengers team as a threat to the world and leading to disbandment, Tony Stark wanted to offered T'Challa to own Stark Industries and his assets on behalf of Captain America's dream. However, T'Challa declined, causing Tony's company lose to Hammer Industries, and being called out by Stark for also not attending a supposed deceased Rogers' funeral for one last time outside Wakanda as well.
For five years, Black Panther and his people are able to defend Wakanda from being invaded by the rise of AIM, having had learnt that they were responsible for the incident in A-Day and Captain America's presumed death.
It was until then, Shuri discovered from worldwide intel and informed T'Challa that Captain America is found alive and revealed to have been kidnapped by AIM (particularly Monica).

Abilities
Black Panther is by far a rushdown close-quarter combatant in both air and ground. While sharing double jump, wall run abilities, and the use of vibranium-based weapon as Captain America, His main reliance is coming from his suit, such as for defensive and 3D printing new weapons. Despite sharing two door-entering abilities as Iron Man, both door hacking and breaking, but unlike him, which requires to enter Hulkbuster mode, Panther can use the latter door-entering ability normally. However, his only floor-break move is his King Mercy, as none of the normal moves works well to break it.
- Double Jump
- Wall Running
- Wall Jump: Unlike Hulk, Panther can climb jump upward as well, instead of just left and right.
- Vibranium Suit:
- Kinetic Energy: Unleashing the kinetic energy will generate the suit's gauge.
- Panther's Cowl: Holding [R2]/[RT] will put Panther into a defensive state at cost half of 25%. While remain holding before the combo string ender, or using heavy attack as a combo string ender, it will generate the suit gauge much higher and faster than heavy attack.
- Kinetic Burst: Once the gauge is full by double tapping [R2]/[RT], Panther's health will be regenerated to full health, and access his suit-based normal moves without needing to enter the suit's cowl mode.
- Panther's Cowl: Holding [R2]/[RT] will put Panther into a defensive state at cost half of 25%. While remain holding before the combo string ender, or using heavy attack as a combo string ender, it will generate the suit gauge much higher and faster than heavy attack.
- Weaponry: The suit allows Panther to craft weapons from it and appears on his hand(s), such as daggers, boomerang, spears, .etc.
- Kinetic Energy: Unleashing the kinetic energy will generate the suit's gauge.

Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Devastating Daggers | Ranged Attack | Hold [L2]/[LT] to Aim and press [R2]/[RT] to throw a dagger at a ranged target. Each dagger that's in the target will apply a debuff that increases melee damage taken by 3%. The debuff can stack up to 3 times. The daggers will dematerialize after a short duration, reducing the effect of the debuff when it does. |
Relentless Daggers | Ranged Attack | While aiming, press [R2]/[RT] x2 after the first throw to perform a Ranged Combo, throwing out multiple daggers in quick succession. The final throw in the combo is a Ranged Combo Finisher. |
Kpinga Daggers | Ranged Power Attack | Hold [R2]/[RT] while aiming to equip a dagger that will seek out its target when thrown. |
Armor Crush | Ranged Power Attack Upgrade | The Kpinga Daggers will now pierce through its target before coming back around for a second hit. |
Strike True | Ranged Power Attack Upgrade | Press and hold down [R2]/[RT] after throwing the first Ranged Power Attack to throw a second dagger that can seek out a new target. |

Panther Cowl | Defensive Ability | Hold [R2]/[RT] to Block incoming attacks. Blocking attacks nullifies the damage and increases the intrinsic meter. Attempting to block a strong or unblockable attack will deplete all intrinsic energy and result in exposure to attack. Blocking does not interrupt combat or traversal abilities and can be performed while in-air. Activating the block ability costs a small amount of intrinsic energy. If intrinsic energy is depleted then damage will no longer be blocked. The intrinsic meter will automatically regenerate a portion of itself over time if it drops below its base threshold. Additional skills may be unlocked that use intrinsic energy. |
Kinetic Burst | Light Intrinsic Attack | Use the suit's stored energy to perform enhanced Intrinsic Attack versions of the Light Combo Finishers. Hold [R2]/[RT] before performing a Light Combo Finisher to send out a burst of kinetic energy along with the attack, increasing the damage and range. |
Panther's Parry | Defensive Ability | Press [R2]/[RT] just before an enemy attack connects to Parry, turning the attack into blast of kinetic energy that knocks the attacker back and staggers nearby enemies. Unblockable attacks cannot be Parried. Enemies who have recently been Parried have decreased impact resistance, making them easier to interrupt. Parrying attacks builds intrinsic meter. |
Percussive Blast | Intrinsic Overcharge | Double Tap [R2]/[RT] when the intrinsic meter is full to trigger a burst of kinetic energy that knocks away nearby enemies and increase all damage done by 10% for 10 seconds. |
Energy Kick | Light Intrinsic Attack | Use the suit's stored energy to perform enhanced Intrinsic Attack versions of the Light Traversal Attacks. Hold [R2]/[RT] before performing the Kokou Kicks to trigger bursts of kinetic energy on each kick, increasing the damage of the attack and dealing damage to nearby enemies. Hold [R2]/[RT] before performing Out From Under to trigger an additional blast of kinetic energy to launch enemies out into the air. |
Formidable Opponent | Intrinsic Ability Upgrade | Reduces the amount of intrinsic meter depleted by 30% when attempting to block or failing to parry a strong or unblockable attack. |
Energy Reserves | Overcharge Ability Upgrade | All actions that generate intrinsic energy will generate additional energy to fill the meter faster while the Overcharge buff is active, allowing the effect to be retriggered more rapidly or to perform intrinsic attacks more frequently. |
Kinetic Boom | Heavy Intrinsic Attack | Use the suit's stored energy to perform enhanced Intrinsic Attack versions of Heavy Combo Finishers. Hold [R2]/[RT] before performing the final attack in the Heavy Attack Combo to increase the size and damage of the kinetic pulse released. Hold [R2]/[RT] before performing Kinetic Pulse to throw additional Kinetic Daggers that cover a larger area and deal increased impact damage making them more likely to interrupt targets. |
Diminishing Returns | Intrinsic Ability Upgrade | Increase the base intrinsic energy threshold by +5%, allowing the suit to automatically generate more energy when it's low. |
Ptah's Push | Overcharge Ability Upgrade | Receive a burst of Willpower when triggering Percussive Blast and extend the duration of the Overcharge buff by 3 seconds. |
Resolute Power | Heavy Intrinsic Attack | Use the suit's stored energy to perform enhanced Intrinsic Attack versions of the Heavy Traversal Attacks. Hold [R2]/[RT] before performing Spinning Claw to trigger additional claw strikes and increase the chance to deal critical damage. Hold [R2]/[RT] before performing Panther Stomp to trigger a rapid-hitting kick that breaks through enemy guard dealing increased Stun damage. |

Notes
- In Marvel Comics, T'Challa / Black Panther first appeared in Fantastic Four #52 (July, 1966). A ceremonial title given to the ruler and protector of Wakanda, there have been multiple characters to use the identity, including his father T'Chaka (the latter murdered by Klaw) and sister Shuri. T'Challa has become involved with the Avengers and the Defenders on many occasions, sometimes also serving as a member of the teams. He is also one of the expanded honorary replacement members of the Fantastic Four, serving on the team if one of the original four are absent.
- During the Future Imperfect teaser, a black cowl with ears can be seen beneath Maestro's throne. It is later confirmed to be Black Panther's in War for Wakanda, meaning he was one of the confirmed fallen heroes in Kree Timeline aside Kate Bishop, Steve Rogers and Tony Stark.
