Zawavari is a character in Marvel's Avengers. He appeared in the operation "War for Wakanda". Zawavari is a Wakandan elder sorceror and mystical advisor to the royal family.
Biography[]
Zawavari has lived a long life having seen three Black Panthers fall.
War for Wakanda[]
Zawavari can be found in the Birnin Zana outpost offering council to the Black Panther and his allies in the Avengers. When entering his room he can be heard communicating with several different magic users such as Doctor Strange, Wong, Doctor Voodoo, Wanda and even Loki.

- In Marvel Comic, Zawavari first appeared in Black Panther (Vol. 5) #3 (June, 2009). The leading magic expert in Wakanda, he was once friend to T'Challa's father T'Chaka. Falling out for unknown reasons, he came back into contact with the group when asked to heal T'Challa, who'd been fatally wounded by the villain Doctor Doom. Zawavari is well practiced in Voodoo magic and is implied to have used it to extend his lifespan.
